I'm a deep thinker by nature
I follow a strict code of honor.
I owe allegiance to no one.
I'll just use this next space to fill you in on the equipment I use. This might be a bit pathetic, but I don't care. It's what I can afford.
Generic Labtec speakers
KDS 17" monitor
AMD K6-2 400 Mhz processor
Voodoo 4 video card
20.4 GB Seagate Barracuda hard drive
Windows 98
64 MB of RAM
Creative Audio PCI soundcard
Optical Mouse
A cool keyboard
Umax Astra 600S scanner
2 CD ROM drives (one's a CDRW drive)
Twin Turbo Cooling fan
Gigabyte-5AX motherboard
You may commence laughing, but I don't care. It's good enough for me (except for the RAM, it will be my next upgrade). My experience comes mainly through the Cisco Net Academy which is a networking course. I'm also learning C++, and I'm currently trying to get a girlfriend, but that looks to be impossible. Oh well.
My major problems have dealt with a hard drive crash, a damaged hard drive, and screwy CD ROM drives. I'm not good with hardware. In fact, I break more CD-Rs than I have ever owned. I'll live with hardware, as long as the drivers are good. I expect to have more problems when I get a computer with Linux, but I anticipate that, unlike other problems.
Email me your question, and I'll answer them in updates. :-) No question is too small.
